Abstract

This study investigates the Digital Transformation of the Office of the Registrar Towards Efficient Records Management System at Philippine Christian University (PCU). The research addresses key challenges of the existing manual process, including inefficiencies in record retrieval, frequent data entry errors, and limited accessibility for stakeholders. Guided by the Diffusion of Innovations Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model, the study emphasizes the role of user perception and institutional readiness in technology adoption. Utilizing qualitative method design, data were collected through interviews, and system testing involving students, faculty, and administrative staff. Results demonstrate that the Digital Transformation of the office of the Registrar Towards Efficient Management System significantly reduces processing time, improves data accuracy, and enhances the accessibility of academic records. The transition to a web-based, paperless environment also streamlined administrative workflows and increased user satisfaction. The finding support the full adoption of the digital system and recommend ongoing staff training, phased implementation, and regular system evaluation to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
