Abstract
Online learning resources have become important tools that help students study independently and improve their academic performance. This study focuses on the use and perceived effectiveness of online learning resources for self-study among students from both private and public schools. It aims to identify the types of online learning materials commonly used, how frequently students use them, and how these resources affect their learning outcomes. A descriptive research design is used, and data are gathered through a survey questionnaire. Findings revealed that students most frequently used online videos, educational websites, and e-books because they were easy to access and helped them better understand their lessons. Results also showed that students found online learning resources effective in enhancing their study habits and overall performance. However, some challenges were identified, such as unstable internet connection, difficulty focusing, and unreliable information. Despite these issues, students still believed that online resources allowed them to learn at their own pace and develop self-discipline and independence in studying. It was recommended that schools continue to promote the effective use of online learning resources to support self-study and improve students' learning experiences.
