Abstract

In today’s competitive business landscape, employee well-being is essential to organizational success. Shuttle services can enhance job satisfaction and reduce turnover by easing daily commutes, boosting morale, and increasing productivity. Despite these advantages, there is a lack of empirical data quantifying their impact on retention and efficiency. This study examines the effects of shuttle services on employee job satisfaction, turnover intentions, and productivity, offering actionable recommendations to promote sustainable workplace practices while addressing safety and reliability concerns. This quantitative study explored the effects of shuttle services on employee retention and efficiency at Concentrix Technohub. Fifty employees, evenly divided by gender, were selected through purposive sampling, and data were gathered using a structured questionnaire. The results highlight the necessity for further research into possible gender bias in hiring practices. A survey of 50 Concentrix employees, mostly aged 24 to 35, demonstrated a strong connection between positive commute experiences and job satisfaction. Reliable shuttle services boosted productivity and work enjoyment while reducing travel costs. Employees reported increased loyalty and lower turnover rates. The service also improved attendance and punctuality, leading to smoother transitions and enhanced productivity. The findings highlight the importance of employee feedback and clear communication for effective implementation. Shuttle services play a vital role in boosting job satisfaction, employee retention, and loyalty by offering reliable and convenient transportation. These benefits contribute to lower turnover rates, improved attendance, and increased productivity. Implementing robust evaluation methods, including employee surveys and performance metrics, is essential for measuring effectiveness. Tailoring shuttle services to align with employee needs enhances their impact. Key recommendations include expanding service coverage, ensuring consistent scheduling, improving shuttle comfort, and conducting regular assessments to monitor outcomes.
