Abstract

This study explored the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various educational activities, including assessment, personalized learning, and administrative functions. It examines the emerging roles of quantum computing and neuromorphic computing in enhancing the efficiency and learning capabilities of AI systems. The research also investigates the impact of AI on students’ critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and decision-making processes. Furthermore, The study evaluated AI’s influence on students' writing experiences, emphasizing both its potential benefits and limitations. It underscores the importance of equitable access to AI tools, including timely software updates and installations, to ensure inclusivity in educational settings. This study employed a descriptive research design to evaluate the accessibility and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for computer interaction among Grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students at Bestlink College of the Philippines. Involving a sample of 200 students selected through simple random sampling, the research examines the potential of AI to enhance computer-based interaction, improve human interaction skills, and support its integration into the HUMSS curriculum. The findings describe the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across multiple facets of education, including research, brainstorming, creative writing, content creation, productivity enhancement, and the use of search engines. AI has the potential to improve students’ computer interaction skills, create personalized learning pathways, enhance grammar and writing abilities, detect plagiarism, assist in research processes, adapt the difficulty level of learning materials, and support the comprehension of complex concepts. This chapter also highlights the potential benefits of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into emotional evaluation within educational environments, which could significantly transform the understanding and support of students’ socioemotional development. It examines the role of AI-powered tools and platforms in fostering students' active participation and interest in learning, particularly by enhancing motivation and facilitating meaningful connections. The discussion emphasizes the importance of applying AI principles in higher education, exploring the use of chatbots and intelligent systems for student engagement, while also addressing the challenges associated with integrating AI into academic settings.
