Abstract

Educational institutions continually seek to optimize admission and enrollment processes, particularly to accommodate the needs of working students who require flexible scheduling. This research enhances the existing School Management System by integrating predictive enrollment modeling with intelligent scheduling selection. The primary objective is to optimize resource allocation, increase student satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency. While maintaining streamlined enrollment procedures and efficient data management, the enhanced system introduces forecasting capabilities to better predict enrollment trends, thereby supporting more effective resource planning and strategic decision-making. This project used a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative insights from interviews with quantitative analysis within an Agile Scrum framework. The development environment comprised tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Agile Scrum was employed to manage the software development lifecycle, emphasizing iterative progress, collaboration, and continuous feedback. Interviews with administrative staff were conducted to gather system requirements, validate design elements, and assess user satisfaction. The collected data were analyzed to identify potential areas for improvement and to evaluate the system’s impact on enrollment efficiency and student satisfaction. The enhanced School Management System demonstrated significant improvements across key operational areas. Predictive enrollment modeling effectively forecasted enrollment trends, allowing for optimized resource allocation and strategic planning. The system notably reduced enrollment processing time and enhanced the overall student experience. The introduction of flexible scheduling options minimized scheduling conflicts, benefiting students—particularly working students—by improving their ability to balance academic and work responsibilities. Student feedback reflected high satisfaction with the system’s flexibility and ease of use. Additionally, the use of Agile Scrum facilitated rapid, collaborative development and continuous refinement throughout the project lifecycle. The successful implementation of the system underscores the value of integrating advanced technology with effective project management to meet the evolving needs of educational institutions. Enhanced predictive modeling supported more informed and timely decision-making, while the introduction of flexible scheduling significantly improved student satisfaction, especially among working students. The use of Agile Scrum fostered a collaborative development environment, ensuring that user requirements were continuously addressed. Furthermore, the system’s ability to analyze data and forecast patterns offers valuable insights for long-term strategic planning and institutional growth.
