Abstract
The global tourism industry has experienced significant growth in recent decades, becoming a major contributor to economic development worldwide. As tourism continues to flourish, understanding and enhancing the tourist experience has become paramount for destinations and establishments alike. This research aimed to assess tourist experiences and satisfaction with the amenities offered at Cloud 9 Antipolo, Rizal, a prominent leisure destination known for its panoramic views and recreational facilities. Cloud 9 Antipolo has a rich history that dates back to its establishment as a private resort. This study employed a quantitative information gathered directly from visitors; online reviews and secondary data sources will not be included. These boundaries guarantee that the study stays concentrated on assessing tourist’s firsthand experiences to produce understandable and controllable insights for Cloud 9's tourism development. The boundaries of the study are aligned by this formulation, which also concentrates the research on the direct evaluation of tourists’ experiences in Cloud 9, offering useful insights while removing irrelevant variables. This age profile reveals a youthful respondent base, likely reflecting a student or early-career sample over 64% of the sample comprises individuals aged 18-27, indicating a strong representation from millennials and Gen Z in sectors like tech and education. Participation significantly declines by over 50% in older age brackets, suggesting that middle-aged individuals may be less involved due to family or career obligations. Additionally, the small sample size of 50 participants may lead to amplified outliers, particularly regarding the low representation (6%) of those aged 33-37, which could indicate selection bias rather than reflecting the true population. Cloud 9 Antipolo indicates that among 50 respondents, gender distribution is nearly balanced, with a slight male majority: 54% male (27 individuals) and 46% female (23 individuals). This even split (54: 46) suggests strong gender representation, important for tourism satisfaction studies, enhancing the sample's reliability for analyses like chi-square tests. The data, when paired with age demographics, highlights a young and balanced group.
