Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the accessibility of Lubao Bamboo Hub and Eco-Park and its relationship with visitor satisfaction, serving as the basis for an itinerary plan. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed, with data gathered from 50 visitors using a structured survey. Convenience sampling was applied, and statistical tools such as frequency distribution, weighted mean, ranking, and Pearson-r correlation were used to analyze respondents’ profiles, perceptions of accessibility, satisfaction levels, and the relationship between the two variables. Findings revealed that most respondents were young adults aged 18–23, predominantly female, traveling in groups mainly for recreation. Accessibility was rated “Agree” overall (WM = 3.24), with navigation, pathways, and potential accessibility rated highest, though gaps in transportation convenience and signage accuracy were noted. Visitor satisfaction was rated “Very Satisfied” overall (WM = 3.27), with expectations and performance positively met, though some disconfirmation occurred regarding road conditions and transport options. Pearson-r results indicated a very strong positive correlation (r = 0.9576) between accessibility and satisfaction, confirming that improved transport and navigation significantly enhance visitor experiences. Barriers included limited public transport, distance from major cities, parking shortages, and weather-related disruptions. The study concludes that accessibility is a strong determinant of visitor satisfaction. An itinerary plan was proposed, emphasizing improved transport services, multilingual signage, guided eco-tours, expanded food options, and weather-protected facilities. These recommendations aim to strengthen Lubao Bamboo Hub and Eco-Park’s competitiveness as an accessible and sustainable ecotourism destination.
