Abstract
This study examined the impact of recreational services on tourist satisfaction at La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City, Philippines. The park offers activities such as picnicking, boating, camping, birdwatching, firing, wall climbing, and nature walks to enhance visitor experience and promote sustainable tourism. A descriptive-quantitative design was used. One hundred randomly selected visitors completed a structured questionnaire about their demographics, use of recreational services, and satisfaction levels. Data were analyzed using weighted mean and Pearson correlation. Recreational services scored highly (3.65), and tourist satisfaction was also high (3.59). Pearson’s correlation (r = 0.9908) showed a near-perfect positive relationship between service quality and satisfaction. Key factors included cleanliness, safety, accessibility, and activity variety. The findings highlight the importance of quality recreational services in creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits and recommendations. La Mesa Eco Park should continue improving facilities and sustainability efforts to maintain competitiveness and foster long-term visitor loyalty and sustainable tourism.
