Abstract

Ugbo Street Food in Manila is a place characterized by a wide variety of food stalls, which bring a large number of visitors. But the growing popularity of the area has created problems of congestion like long lines, scanty seating and hygiene issues. These problems can affect the experience of the visitors. The paper seeks to assess the experience of visitors in the ugbo Street Food and suggests an improved management strategy. The research design employed in the study was descriptive design to collect data on visitor experiences. A sample of 75 individuals was chosen to express their experiences regarding food quality, service, and satisfaction on visiting Ugbo Street. The results indicated that the visitors are usually pleased with the food and service provided by the vendors. The issues of overcrowding, however, like the long queues, absence of seating, and sanitary concerns lowered the comfort and convenience of the visitors. The findings underscore the importance of effective visitor management measures to address overcrowding concerns in area. Although food quality and vendor service positively impact visitor satisfaction, inadequate crowd control and insufficient facilities can undermine the overall experience. This implies that well-structured management strategies, better facilities and effective crowd management are relevant in ensuring that visitors feel comfortable and convenient. The popularity of Ugbo Street can still place a strain on space and resources without a well-structured visitor management plan, which may affect both visitor satisfaction and the sustainability of the area.
