Abstract

The goal of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the online booking platform of La Mesa Eco Park in enhancing the tourist experience. Digital innovations influencing the tourism industry allow better accessibility, visitor satisfaction, and sustainable management. The researchers surveyed 75 tourists that used the online booking platform. This survey employed a quantitative research method. The study was focused upon these aspects: Customer service as well as support, customer satisfaction, technical performance, and booking system features. Most of the respondents found the system to be helpful for organizing their visit. Results then showed that it also reduced waiting times as well as improved overall convenience for them. However, the study also identified some issues, which included that the platform did not respond to the concerns and also that the online booking platform failed. Another hindrance is that while people can optionally book online, they cannot proceed with payment, which affects the overall functionality of the system. Supporting the regulation of tourist arrivals also promotes environmental sustainability, allowing the platform to contribute positively to park operations despite these issues. The study recommends that system responsiveness be improved, that technical concerns be addressed, and that online payment be integrated to further improve the platform’s impact. These findings may guide La Mesa Eco Park as it refines its digital services, and these findings can serve as a reference for other ecotourism sites implementing similar systems.
