Abstract
La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City stands as a vital green space offering recreational, educational, and environmental experiences to urban residents and tourists. With increasing demand for eco-friendly destinations, the park has undergone facility upgrades aimed at improving cleanliness, safety, accessibility, and overall maintenance. Understanding how these enhancements affect visitor satisfaction is crucial for sustaining its appeal and promoting ecotourism. This study employed a quantitative-descriptive research design using a structured survey distributed to 223 park visitors through convenience sampling. The questionnaire captured demographic profiles and perceptions of upgraded facilities. Data were analyzed using frequency distributions, weighted means, and independent t-tests to assess differences in visitor experiences across age, gender, location, income, and visit frequency. Findings revealed that facility upgrades significantly improved visitor satisfaction. Cleanliness received a composite mean of 3.32, with restrooms rated highest (3.47). Safety scored a composite mean of 3.23, led by signage visibility (3.33). Accessibility was rated most favorably, with a composite mean of 3.43, and seating areas scoring 3.49. most respondents were female (68.16%) aged 18–25 (64.57%) from Quezon City (62.33%), and most belonged to the low-income bracket (79.37%). Statistical tests showed no significant differences in satisfaction across demographic groups (P-values > 0.05), indicating a uniformly positive experience.
