Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Interactive E-Comics in teaching Earth and Space to Grade 7 students at Bagong Silang High School. A quasi-experimental design was used to evaluate Interactive E-Comics relative to traditional instruction. The study considered respondents’ demographic characteristics, implementation factors, and learning outcomes measured through pretests and posttests. Posttest performance was reported as significantly improved. The analysis yielded t = 22.12 and p < 0.00001, below the alpha level of 0.05, leading to rejection of the null hypothesis. The absence of pretest and posttest means and separate group outcomes limits interpretation of the magnitude and comparative effect. The findings suggest that Interactive E-Comics supported comprehension, engagement, and performance in Earth and Space lessons. Students nevertheless reported navigation difficulties, slow loading, unclear graphics, small text, time constraints, and limited value from some interactive activities. Technical design and accessibility should be improved, and complete sample and group statistics should be reported before making strong effectiveness claims.
