Abstract

The research investigated how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) practices affect decision-making processes at Don C Lechon Manok Corporation. Organizations in the current data-driven business environment use integrated information systems to achieve accurate and timely and efficient managerial decision-making. The study examined how organizations implement ERP practices through their capacity to establish complete collaboration and provide real-time data access and generate reports and analytics and their success in achieving user adoption which enabled organizations to make better decisions. The researchers used quantitative correlational research design to study ERP users who worked in various organizational departments through purposive sampling method. The researchers collected data through a structured survey questionnaire which received validation and they used statistical methods including frequency analysis and percentage analysis and weighted mean calculation and ranking and Pearson correlation. The study found that organizations used ERP practices at an Agree level which showed that organizations applied all their operational functions through ERP systems but the user adoption function received the lowest application level of 2.88. Decision-making research established that decision timeliness received the highest composite weighted mean score of 3.08 because real-time information access enabled executives to respond more quickly to operational demands. The organization achieved better operational coordination and reliable data by reaching a value of 2.94 in both data quality and decision efficiency. The primary challenge which hinders organizations from using ERP systems results from high expenses required to maintain their systems. The research results demonstrate that ERP inventory planning methods between organizations through their capacity to share information and manage operations and maintain data accuracy. The study demonstrates that organizations can use ERP systems as their strategic resources to enable their managers to make better decisions.
