Abstract

Operational efficiency at Bestlink College of the Philippines is essential to ensure transparency, accountability, and sustainability in higher education institutions. This study assessed the level of operational efficiency of Bestlink College of the Philippines, focusing on process optimization to improve service delivery and institutional performance. Specifically, the study examined the efficiency of financial operations in terms of transaction processing. The study utilized a quantitative descriptive research design. Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire distributed to selected personnel involved in the financial management operations of the institution. The respondents were chosen using an appropriate sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and ranking to determine the level of operational efficiency and identify existing challenges in financial processes. Findings revealed that the financial management operations of Bestlink College of the Philippines were efficient, particularly in budgeting practices and internal control systems. However, challenges were noted in areas such as processing time, documentation procedures, and the utilization of technology in financial transactions. The results indicate that process optimization strategies, including system automation, streamlined workflows, and continuous staff training, can further enhance operational efficiency. The study concludes that improving financial management processes is vital in supporting effective institutional operations. It recommends the adoption of modern financial systems, regular evaluation of financial procedures, and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency and ensure sustainable financial management at Bestlink College of the Philippines.
