Abstract
This study examined the relationship between promotional strategies and client reach in The Hungry Paws, a pet grooming service located in North Olympus, Quezon City. The business utilizes advertising, service incentives, service personalization, and online/social media marketing to attract and retain clients. The study aimed to determine how these strategies relate to customer awareness, interest, desire, and action based on the AIDA model. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed. Data were collected from 30 walk-in clients using a structured questionnaire. Statistical tools such as frequency distribution, weighted mean, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data and determine the relationship between promotional strategies and client reach mechanism. Findings revealed that service incentives and advertising received the highest effectiveness ratings in relation to client reach. Respondents positively evaluated the business’s promotional efforts. Statistical analysis showed a strong positive correlation (r = 0.880, p < 0.0001), indicating that stronger promotional strategies were significantly associated with greater awareness, engagement, and service use among clients. The results indicate that structured promotional strategies are associated with customer attraction and retention. Service personalization was associated with satisfaction and loyalty, while online marketing was associated with visibility and accessibility. Although effective, the business may further improve through consistent digital content updates and increased community engagement. Strengthening promotional planning and expanding digital presence can help sustain growth and competitive advantage.
