Abstract
This study examined the relationship between work quality and task completion among employees working remotely. As remote work becomes a long-term arrangement, organizations face challenges in monitoring productivity and maintaining consistent performance. The research focuses on a BPO work environment where deadlines and service standards are critical. It aims to determine whether higher work quality is associated with more efficient task completion and to identify factors associated with productivity in remote settings. A descriptive quantitative design examined the relationship between work quality and task completion among 30 remote employees. Data were collected via structured Likert-scale surveys measuring work quality, task completion, communication, technology access, and work environment. Respondents were purposively sampled for relevant remote work experience, and data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and correlation. Findings showed a significant positive relationship between work quality and task completion. Employees who reported clear communication, stable internet access, structured schedules, and organizational support demonstrated higher efficiency and consistency. In contrast, isolation, distractions, and limited resources were associated with reduced productivity and slower task completion. Respondents with reliable support systems and stable work environments showed more consistent performance. The results indicate that stronger work quality is associated with more timely task completion in remote settings. Organizational support, clear communication, and reliable resources were also associated with sustained employee performance. Addressing common remote work challenges may support productivity and guide effective management strategies. These findings support policy development and highlight the need for monitoring systems that promote accountability and long-term sustainability in remote work environments.
