Abstract
The purpose of this study seeks to determine the level of effectiveness of drug clearing program carried out in Police Station 4, Quezon City and this study wants to know if there’s a significant difference in the effect of drug clearing program. This study comprises research design, study respondents, sampling technique, construction of instrument, validation of instrument, administration and retrieval of instrument, statistical treatment of data. The participants of this study are fifty two (52) respondents. A self-made survey questionnaire that was approved by specialists and distributed with the required authorization was used to collect the data. The gathered data were analyzed and interpreted using statistical tools like frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Based on our findings that Regarding the level of effectiveness for local drug enforcement and prevention, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit achieved the highest marks, being rated as Very Effective with a weighted mean of 3.26. While this specific unit leads in performance, its collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) also maintained a strong standing, earning an Effective rating with a weighted mean of 3.17. The findings of the ANOVA showed no significant difference in opinions about collaboration. On the other hand, respondents' opinions about drug reduction strategy differed significantly. The main problem we found was surrenderers' unwillingness in participating in drug rehabilitation programs (26.12%). The analysis comes to the conclusion that, in terms for collaboration and reduction strategies, Police Station 4's Drug Clearing Program is generally successful. The researchers suggested an Enhanced Drug-Clearing Program with thorough module training, a "Buddy System" for monitoring, and public-private partnerships to offer "Second Chance" jobs to rehabilitated graduates in order to address the issues they had observed.
