Abstract
Illegal drug use threatens health, safety, and community well-being. Public awareness campaigns educate residents, promote legal compliance, and encourage participation. This study assessed the impact of anti-drug campaigns in Barangay 187, Caloocan City across awareness, stakeholder involvement, and community participation. Descriptive design was used, surveying 60 purposively selected residents with a validated questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency distributions, percentages, and weighted means to determine campaign impact. The campaigns had a high impact (weighted mean 3.2). Residents showed strong awareness of drug dangers and RA 9165, while seminars, assemblies, and digital platforms improved engagement. BADAC and PNP leadership enhanced reach, but challenges included limited monitoring, funding, and youth participation. Campaigns effectively increased knowledge and engagement, but sustainability depends on addressing gaps. Project SMART—with feedback mechanisms, youth mentorship, and faith-based dialogues—is recommended to maintain a drug-resistant and safe community.
