Abstract
Scentara Spa is a proposed wellness business located at 23 Rolex, Novaliches, Quezon City, aiming to provide a complete and holistic spa experience by integrating professional massage services with natural aromatic products. The concept was developed from the feasibility study of two separate ventures. The Y’sparest, which offers massage services, and Eco-Scent, which specializes in aromatic and eco-friendly products. By combining their expertise, Scentara Spa seeks to deliver a relaxing, memorable, and environmentally conscious wellness service tailored to students, office workers, and local residents who experience daily stress. Strategically situated in an accessible and visible area, the spa is designed to address the growing demand for high-quality and sustainable wellness services, positioning itself as a trusted wellness destination in Quezon City. A survey questionnaire was conducted with 52 respondents from the local community to better understand their preferences in spa services, pricing, and interest in eco-friendly wellness practices. The gathered data were analyzed to determine potential market demand and customer behavior. In addition, financial projections, operational planning for a 21-square-meter space, and compliance with local business and health regulations were considered to assess the feasibility and sustainability of the proposed spa operations. Survey findings indicate strong interest in eco-friendly spa services, with 44% of respondents very likely and 35% likely to engage in treatments such as ventosa and hot pack sand therapy. Despite this, actual visitation remains low, with 76% reporting rare or no spa use. To address this gap, Scentara Spa may implement promotional initiatives, service bundles, and loyalty programs. A competitive pricing strategy will be applied to services, offering rates below those of competitors, while products such as scented candles, massage oils, and mist sprays will carry a 30–60% markup to generate supplementary revenue and support business sustainability. Scentara Spa is a wellness business focused on relaxation, holistic care, and eco-friendly practices. Its strengths include high-quality massage services, natural products, sustainability, and a structured partnership model. While challenges like limited start-up capital and local competition exist, targeted marketing, excellent service, and innovative offerings position the spa to build a loyal client base and achieve long-term success.
