Abstract

The purpose of this study focuses on increasing importance due to its potential impact on transparency, accountability, and community relation. A quantitative descriptive researchers design was used. Fifty (50) Respondents composed of twenty five (25) people from the community and twenty five (25) from the police patrol personnel who were assigned in Barangay 176, Caloocan City. The researcher will assure that the respondent will competently and sufficiently complete the questionnaire and give the necessary information needed by the study. Statistical tools included frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean, and ANOVA. the findings reveal no significant difference between the community and police patrol personnel respondents in their assessment of the mandatory use of body-worn cameras in police patrol personnel operations. Across all three indicators experience, equipment, and maintenance the null hypothesis was accepted, The computed F-value (1.26) remains lower than the F critical value (5.99), and the p-value (0.30) is still above 0.05. The result is not significant, and the null hypothesis is accepted. Strategies to encourage the government to increase funds for police body cameras in Barangay 176 Caloocan City. It aims to promote transparency, accountability, and positive police-community relations by focusing on public awareness, officer training, accountability mechanisms, and addressing concerns regarding excessive force and citizens' rights.
