Abstract

This study assessed the perceived effectiveness of the Philippine National Police at Pasong Putik Police Station 16 in responding to incidents within five minutes. The source methods section states that a quantitative descriptive research design would be used to assess achievement of the five-minute response-time standard. It does not report the completed sample, sampling procedure, questionnaire, data-collection process, or statistical analysis. Most respondents were aged 26–33, female, single, high-school graduates, and residents of the area for 16–20 years. Respondents strongly agreed that police mobile assets, access to police hotlines, and community sense of security were sufficient to support a five-minute response. The reported t-values for mobile-asset sufficiency (9.152), hotline access (12.365), and community sense of security (9.364) exceeded the reported critical value of 3.11 and were interpreted as statistically significant. The findings suggest favorable perceptions of Police Station 16’s five-minute response capability in relation to mobile assets, hotline access, and community security. Heavy traffic and road conditions remained important challenges. Improved coordination, resource allocation, and infrastructure support were recommended to sustain rapid response.
