Abstract

This study assessed the response of Police Station 14 in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City, in terms of response time, available resources and capabilities, coordination, police visibility, and community perceptions. It sought to identify service gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen police performance and community safety. The study used a quantitative descriptive research design to assess residents’ perceptions of police response and crime-prevention activities in Barangay Holy Spirit. It focused on police visibility, response time, and community involvement. The source methods section does not report the sampling procedure, research instrument, validation, or statistical treatments. Among the 50 respondents, most were aged 26–35, and males and females were equally represented (50% each). All police-officer respondents had at least a college degree, while resident respondents were concentrated at the secondary-education level. Police Station 14 received “Strongly Agree” ratings for omnipresence (3.63), community engagement and response time (3.60), and deployment planning (3.57), indicating favorable respondent perceptions of police response and operational strategies. The findings provide a basis for identifying concerns experienced by residents and for developing recommendations aligned with the study questions.
