Abstract
Effective curriculum and subject management support instructional coherence, academic quality, and student outcomes. Traditional curriculum planning may be constrained by limited time, inconsistent alignment with academic standards, insufficient data-informed decision-making, and heavy administrative workloads. Artificial intelligence tools such as Magic School AI may help streamline curriculum design, support subject planning, and assist instructional strategies. This study examined an AI-integrated curriculum and subject-management system intended to improve efficiency, consistency, and educational effectiveness. The study used a mixed-method design involving curriculum planners, subject coordinators, and teachers from selected institutions. Over one academic term, Magic School AI was used to support curriculum mapping, lesson planning, assessment development, and differentiated instruction. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, system analytics, and comparisons of curriculum documents before and after AI integration. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results indicated reduced curriculum-planning time and improved alignment among learning objectives, instructional activities, and assessments after AI integration. Grade-level consistency increased, and subject management became more structured and data informed. AI-generated insights also supported timely curriculum adjustments and targeted instructional interventions. The findings suggest that AI may support curriculum and subject management by improving productivity, personalization, and alignment with standards. Successful implementation, however, requires teacher training, ethical guidelines, and continuous monitoring to maintain instructional quality. Future studies should examine long-term student outcomes and scalability across educational settings.
