Abstract
This study examines innovative approaches to educational governance within the framework of Development Administration and their influence on governance effectiveness and sustainability in educational institutions. It investigates how the integration of technological innovation, participatory governance models, and data-driven decision-making enhances administrative performance and supports long-term institutional sustainability. A quantitative-descriptive correlational design was employed to examine the relationships between innovative governance practices and key governance outcomes. Data were collected from administrators, teachers, and parents at San Roque Elementary School. Statistical analyses were conducted to determine the strength and significance of associations among governance variables. The findings reveal that innovative governance practices significantly enhance institutional effectiveness, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement. However, implementation barriers, including resistance to organizational change and unequal access to technological resources, limit the full realization of these innovations. The study proposes a Development Administration–based governance framework emphasizing stakeholder participation, continuous professional development, data-informed systems, and adaptive leadership structures. These strategies provide practical guidance for policymakers and school leaders seeking to strengthen governance mechanisms and ensure sustainability amid evolving educational demands.
