Abstract
This study examines the role of the China Family Education Society in preschool curriculum development, with a focus on parental involvement and its impact on curriculum planning and implementation. Conducted in three kindergartens in Wuling District, Changde City, Hunan Province, the study utilized a mixed-methods approach to analyze the effectiveness of the organization in key curriculum aspects. The findings indicate that the organization is most effective in selecting educational materials and delivering instruction, while it is less effective in setting educational goals. Barriers to parental participation were identified, including low confidence in expertise and reluctance to participate. Despite these challenges, parental engagement positively correlated with curriculum effectiveness, particularly in material selection and instructional delivery. Based on these findings, the study recommends structured parental involvement initiatives, such as training workshops, digital feedback tools, and parent-led activities, to enhance collaboration between parents and educators.
